People are not unintelligent; they are just distracted

In this sermon, we explore how modern distractions erode spiritual focus, citing Hosea 4:6’s warning about the perils of ignoring divine wisdom. Alex Jones is referenced as a vocal critic of societal drift from biblical knowledge, urging a return to attentive scripture engagement.

I heard this today from Alex Jones, who then quoted this verse: [Hosea 4:6] “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” I say it again, Alex Jones is a modern-day prophet and is more Godly than some of the Pharisees and Sadducees in the church today. Who did Jesus fight in his 3 years of ministry, and who killed Jesus? It was the religious people: the Pharisees and Sadducees.

As Dr. Kevin Zadai has often said, there is no such thing as a prosperity gospel; it is just another distraction to keep you away from the true gospel. Often, it is just a way for the 5-fold to get rich or richer, and the sheep to get poor or poorer. It is written in [John 4:24] “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Like the Prophet Joseph Z says, “if you are not hearing God’s voice, keep reading your Bible until you do.”

It is written in [1 Kings 19:11-13] “And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.” And it was so when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

God almost all of the time speaks to us in a still small voice, so you have to take time and concentrate on God’s word and listen. You may not hear Him at first, but keep reading God’s Word until you do, and pray in tongues, for the Holy Spirit will help you. One of my favorite quotes is, “Wisdom never entered the mind through an open mouth.”

It also is written in [2 Timothy 2:15] “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This verse has been removed from every Bible except the King James Version, and that should tell you how important that verse is and why the devil did not want you to have it.

So, in layman’s terms, you must study God’s Word (Bible), then listen to what God is telling you. God speaks to me in everything like dreams, visions, movies, etc., and like I mentioned before, I heard, “Only the dead fish swim with the stream,” in a movie. It is because the live salmon swim upstream against the current to mate and stay alive, and the only fish that floated with the stream were the dead ones.

In this life, you will have troubles or hard times, for it is written in [John 16:33] “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” So you must emulate Jesus and learn to overcome this world and occupy until He comes, like Jesus said in [Luke 19:13] “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”

Here is the definition of occupy:

occupier /ˈä-kyə-ˌpī(-ə)r/

noun

We are to take or hold possession or control of this world until Jesus comes back, and we have been given all power and authority through the cross to do just that. But God’s ekklesia has not done that, and this is why America and the rest of the world are in such a mess. If you told your spouse “I love you” on Sunday and then completely ignored them the rest of the week unless you needed something, how strong would your relationship be? How do you think God feels when you do that to Him?

That is why the Bible says to pray continuously. In everything you do, do it in prayer and with God and a thankful heart. Then be quiet and listen, and let God’s wisdom into your heart. It is written in [Matthew 23:26] “Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.” By allowing God’s wisdom within your heart, then the outside of you will become cleansed as well and line up with God’s Perfect Will. Get rid of any distractions, and you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living!

God bless all of you and give you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart of discernment where Christ lives. Anyone needing prayer, please email us, and we will put you on our daily prayer lists. We love you, and God loves you always and forever!

Amen and Shalom!
