I was listening to the prophet, minister, and evangelist Johnny Enlow on Elijah Streams via Rumble today. He said that the old saying “You are only as strong as your weakest link” is not what God is looking for and is the exact opposite of what He looked for in the Bible. This saying references a motor chain, like on a motorcycle, bike, or car, where a weak or broken link could fail you at any time. When I was in the music business, I used that statement many times with different bands and musicians. For example, you could have the best singer, guitarist, and bassist, but if you have a horrible drummer, your band just won’t succeed. In the physical realm, that statement is accurate.
God does not look for the strongest, brightest, or most beautiful people; He looks for the “island of misfit toys.” If you haven’t seen that Christmas movie, look up Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys (2001). Wasn’t David the last and least of all his brothers? Or how about Moses, who had a speech impediment and did not want to lead his people out of Egypt? This same King David had another man killed to cover up his affair, yet God is merciful and forgave him of all his many transgressions. Did God not whittle down Gideon’s army to 300 men?
It is written in [Judges 6:11-16]:
[11] “After this, the angel of the Lord arrived and sat down in the shade of the oak tree in Ophrah that belonged to Joash, a descendant of Abiezer, while his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to safeguard it from the Midianites. [12] The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘The Lord is with you, you valiant warrior!’
[13] But Gideon replied, ‘Right… Sir, if the Lord is with us, then why has all this happened to us? And where are all His miraculous works that our ancestors recounted to us when they said, ‘The Lord brought us up from Egypt, didn’t He?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us over to Midian!’
[14] The Lord looked straight at him and replied, ‘Go with this determination of yours and deliver Israel from Midian’s domination. I’ve directed you, haven’t I?’
[15] ‘Right…,’ Gideon responded. ‘Sir, how will I deliver Israel? Look—my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I’m the youngest in my father’s household.’
[16] The Lord told him, ‘Because I’ll be with you, and you’ll defeat Midian—every single one of them!'”
The Israelites had sinned against God, so He delivered them over to the Midianites for seven years. But God, in His mercy, provided them with Gideon from the weakest family as their sixth judge, or deliverer.
It is written in [1 Corinthians 1:27]:
[27] “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
God never chooses a lot of people or a large army because He is a jealous God and does not share His glory with any man, period!
MAGA followers of President Donald J. Trump and Trump himself need to understand that only God can help Trump win this next election. The belief that they can get so many votes that they cannot lose the election is prideful, and pride comes before a fall, as it is written in [Proverbs 16:18]: “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” If this has been your mindset, please repent, ask God for forgiveness, and pray that He helps Trump win the next elections.
The church has allowed all of this to happen in America and across the world, but God is raising up His modern-day judges, just as He did in the Bible. This could be you. You were born for such a time as this, as it is written in [Esther 4:14]: “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Through the cross of Jesus Christ, you are grafted into the Covenant of Abraham, a royal priesthood in these times. Now is not the time to remain silent but to be courageous and ask God to show you who you are in Him and what is written about you in the Book of Life before you were born. Then ask God how and where to engage in the seven mountains of influence:
- Education
- Religion
- Family
- Business
- Government/Military
- Arts/Entertainment
- Media
This is why you were born at this time, and whatever gifts God has given you and whatever God places in your heart to do within these areas is where you should start!
It is written in [Zechariah 4:10]: “Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the LORD that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” The Lord does not give you more than you can handle, and remember, He is always watching and cheering you on!
