Things people have told me that are not in the Bible!
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”
So what does the Bible really say?
Matthew 23: Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
Matthew 24: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
Matthew 25: In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
So what did Jesus Say?
1st John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The Truth (Scripture)
Come to Jesus as you are and give your heart (Inside of the cup) to Christ and He shall cleanse you of all your sins (Outside of the cup) all have sinned & fall short of the Glory of God all of us. Yes I am the greatest of these and only by the Grace of God do I write this today!
