I felt in my spirit to expound upon my own struggles in these end times so it may help you in yours.
My Journey to Japan
I want to go back 15 years ago, before I came to Japan with my now Japanese wife. I had become a Christian in December 2002 when I was in the music business, after my last tour I was on. I knew in my spirit that my wife was to be my wife, and I loved her greatly in my heart.
We both had been married previously, and my wife was a widow. Her ex-husband had worked for the government, so the government law was that if she got married before she was 55, she would lose his insurance and retirement payments. So we had to wait, but we stayed together, and the minute she turned 55, we went on vacation to Las Vegas and got married by Elvis—LOL!
Then her parents in Japan were getting older, so I suggested we move to Japan and help them. My wife had a younger brother who had never been married, and there were no grandchildren. So my wife pressured me to have a child at our old age, as I did not want to at my age. My wife also was a six-year cancer survivor, and this proved extremely difficult. Only through much prayer and a miracle from God did we accomplish this. Now we have a son who just turned 10 years old, and only God do I love more than him.
The Family Business
My father-in-law had built a construction company, a hotel, and a natural hot spring spa here in Japan for his children. My wife became president of the hotel and spa that are connected, and my brother-in-law took the parent company—the construction company.
The hotel was losing money under previous bad managers, and the spa made a little money, but the construction company was doing well. My wife, along with her father and brother, turned the hotel around into making some money, and God blessed it in an answer to our prayers. I had a small diner restaurant in the spa that had a small kitchen, as I had a three-year apprenticeship under a French master chef.
Covid-19 and Isolation
Then came Covid-19. I had gone back to America to do taxes and got stuck there for almost three years because Japan had shut down all access to Japan from America. During that time, I did get Covid, and it lasted for like three months. I had gone to the hospital twice, but they never gave me any medicine.
But during that time of being away from my wife and son, plus being isolated, I had much time to study my Bible, pray, and grow in God. It did really help me in my walk with God, and I believe that is why He allowed it to happen to me. And man, was I going to need it—when I finally made it back to my family in Japan, all hell would break loose.
Spiritual Warfare in Japan
The very first thing was the territorial demons of Buddhism and Shintoism here in Japan were attacking me nonstop. It has been a couple of years of spiritual warfare for me, my wife, my son, my in-laws, and the family business.
The demons would move things around in my home and turn things on. My computer would turn on, and Siri would ask, “How can I help you?” We got into my brand-new car, and a demon turned on the navigational system in white noise at over 100 decibels—it was deafening. I turned the sound system off. I turned the car off. Nothing happened. I said a quick prayer and opened the car door, and it stopped finally. Nissan had to replace the whole navigational system under warranty because it was ruined.
Then I watched an Evangelist Fernando Perez YouTube video on house and car cleansing with anointed oil, and that stopped.
Attacks on Finances and Family
Then these demons moved on against my finances, as my wife closed my restaurant during my Covid-19 absence in America. God sent in two different companies to our hotel to ask me to teach English, but that was only two days a week. God has yet to reveal to me or open a door for me to either work more or start a business.
I tried to open an English school here, but it takes a teaching license, and I do not speak fluent Japanese to get it. It was very difficult to get a driver’s license, as it takes foreigners an average of 4.6 times to pass it. With prayer and my wife’s help, I passed it on the first time, but it was extremely difficult.
After my finances, these demons started having my brother-in-law attack my wife and me, and it caused problems between my wife and me. My father-in-law was protecting us from my brother-in-law, but he just passed away, so my brother-in-law has started attacking us again. My wife, who hates conflict, told him she is stepping down at the first of the year, so that means we lose her salary and all of our insurances.
Lessons from the Battle
It has been a journey, to say the least. I have been attacked by demons—even a poltergeist—before in my life in America before coming here. But this is not a Christian country, and these spirits of Buddhism and Shintoism have been here for thousands of years and are very territorial. There is a great revival coming here to Japan and Asia, and they don’t want it—or my part of God’s plan—to come to fruition.
I have never asked God to be a pastor. During my Covid isolation in America, I started a Bible study and found out firsthand some people are just religious and don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Your Calling in the Book of Life
I say all of this to say we all have a choice to accept Jesus into our hearts and obey the perfect will of our Father and Creator in Heaven. But we also have to obey what was written in the Book of Life about us before we were born.
You may be called to be one of the five-fold ministry like me—the Seven Mountains of Influence:
- Education
- Religion
- Family
- Business
- Government/Military
- Arts/Entertainment
- Media
That you do not have a choice if you want to be in Heaven, and the higher your calling, the more the devil and his minions will attack you.
Do Not Fear Isolation or Discipline
The other lesson in this is: do not fear isolation or God’s discipline. For God disciplines those He loves and isolates us so we may hear His voice better. It is so important to have a place void of distractions to praise and worship, plus pray to God, so that we hear His voice. The Holy Spirit will navigate you through these evil end times.
Take the spiritual battle back to the devil and these demons through standing on God’s Word over you and your family—and everything you have in the past, present, and future. God and His angels are not limited by space or time, so they can correct things and close doors and gates for us we have opened through sin in the past.
Scripture for These Evil Days
The verse for these evil days is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
[14] If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
Then pray Psalm 51:
[1] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. [2] Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. [3] For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. [4] Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. [5] Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. [6] Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. [7] Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. [8] Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. [9] Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. [12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. [13] Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. [14] Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. [15] O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. [16] For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. [17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. [18] Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. [19] Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. — Psalm 51 (KJV)
Walk in Humility
A Godly walk is a walk in humility and leaning on God and His Son Jesus Christ for your victory. My hope is this will help you in these evil end times and to understand you have been given a plan written about you in the Book of Life that will not fail if you follow God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

And help me to fulfill everything that is written about me in the Book of Life. May your Perfect Will, Covenants, and Precepts be done in my life as it is in Heaven. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
